 Module Objectives:  
    Describe the principles of electric power generationIdentify the operation and major systems in power producing facilitiesIdentify the different types of generation facilitiesReview the operating parameters and characteristics of each type of generatorReview the operation of generator governorsIdentify the principles of operation and components of generatorsDescribe the factors that influence the generator capability for both real and reactive power Each lesson area in this course is culminated with a review and a quiz. Upon completion of the course, there is a final assessment that consists of 10 questions. Individuals must attain a passing grade of 70% on the final assessment in order to be awarded the appropriate NERC CEHs.
 This class is intended for: new operators to the system that will have the responsibility of generation equipment; transmission operators who want to expand their knowledge of generation equipment; and individuals who desire additional knowledge on generation equipment operating on the Bulk Electric System.
